Description:
The ideal position of these South-East facing slopes on a clay and limestone soil has come up trumps yet again, giving birth to this sumptuous, citrussy wine, with mineral notes coming through beautifully on the richly complex palate. From a great location, this is a superb wine.
Grandfather Bret bought this property in Vinzelles in 1947. In 2000 Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret took their vineyards out of the local co-operative and established their Domaine de la Soufrandière with 4 hectares of vines entirely in the appellat (12 x 75 cl)
A noble bouquet reveals a whisper of oak, whilst a perfect structure and a crisp mineral finish offset the flesh of the palate. This has extraordinary power without undue richness. (12 x 75 cl)
