Description: In 1956, Michele Chiarlo began his career as a producer with a small cellar in Calamandrana, starting off with 5 hectares of his father's company's vineyards, planted with Barbera and Muscat grapes. Today, the 50 hectare estate is spread throughout some of the regions best wine producing areas of Barolo, Gavi and Asti.

This wine comes from a 6 hectare vineyard in Cerequio is to be found on a splendid, south-facing amphitheatre hill between the communes of La Morra and Barolo. The exceptional composition of the soil together with a particularly mild climate make Cerequio one of most prestigious crus throughout the entire Barolo production area.

The vineyard is skilfully managed and prepared with much care taken between the vineyard and the winery. Here the wines spend 2 years in oak barrels.
