Rosemount Estate FOUNDERS SELECTION Chardonnay Australia

Formerly know as Jigsaw Red this wine has now been re-branded Rosemount Road. From fruit drawn primarily from the Murray River Valley, each batch of grapes are kept separate and a small proportion of wine is oak matured before final blending, takes place. The Shiraz gives hints of exotic spices, the Grenache, lively ripe fruit and a generous texture, while dark plum flavours derive from the Mataro. (12 x 75 cl)

Full flavoured and generous, this wine is regarded internationally as a benchmark for Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Tropical fruit underpinned with creamy vanillin oak. (12 x 75 cl)

The fruit for this wine is in the main taken from Murray River Valley, as well as Rosemount's plantings in the Upper Hunter and South-Australia. After the harvest the fruit is gently pressed, clear juice is then inoculated with selected yeast to ensure a controlled fermentation within stainless steel tanks. The three varietals combine to show tropical fruit and ripe apples from the Chardonnay (12 x 75 cl)

This is a delicious example of the full flavoured Australian Cabernet. The wine is matured in French Oak to add softness and complexity to the rich fruit flavours (12 x 75 cl)
