Acquired in 1956 the estate was re-modelled and re-planted over a 30 year period and today covers 60 hectares fully devoted to wine production. This Rose is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre that combines the best traditions of the Bandol appelation with the technology of today. Domaine La Suffrène extends over 45 hectares across the communes of La Cadiere d'Azur and Castellet. Vineyard practices are traditional from gobelet-trained vines to the strict vendange vert which keeps yields low, optimising quality and contributing towards concentration in the grapes when harvested. Hugely concentrated and wildly aromatic with spices, pepper, sandalwood, coffee and leather. Available in 37.5 cl bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl)
