A splendid and enticing complex nose of honeyed pear and apple, pineapple, grapefruit, kiwi, cocoa, apricots, toasted minerals, very full and buttery on the palate with great concentrated and rich texture of fleshy pineapple, peach fruits, minerals and toastiness, perfectly assembled with balanced acidity and magnificent lingering finish. (6 x 75 cl)
Vibrant dark crimson colour with hints of purple, an intriguing, toasted and mature fruit cake nose with mineral notes, mountain herbs, liquorice and chocolate. Immensely full and powerful on the palate, great concentration of mature fruit from very low yields. A richness of flavours, balsamic, eucalyptus, envelopes the senses, reminiscent of the aromatic herbs and llicorella soil typical of the area. Grand structure and velvety tannins with an enduring and memorable finish. A sensational Priorat wine that may be laid down for 5 or more years. (6 x 75 cl)
50% Garnacha, 45% Carinena and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 12 months on lees in American and French oak it was bottled with no clarification or filtration. A wine of character, medium bodied, dry, concentrated redcurrant and blackcurrant, gooseberry fruit with good acidity and soft leathery tannins. Lingering finish. (12 x 75 cl)
Open and packed with fruit, this wine is a blend of 40% Garnacha Blanca, 30% Macabeo, 30% Moscatel from, on average, 18 year old vines on south facing slopes of llicorella soil. This red is a blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Garnacha Pais, 15% Garnacha Peluda, 25% Carinena and 10% Syrah and has spent 12 months in Freanch oak casks. This has produced a soft and supple red wine with bags of Spanish personality while the spicey nose is a direct effect of the oak ageing. (6 x 75 cl)
An equal measure of Macabeo and Garnacha blanca it is light gold in colour with notes of vanilla and smoke from the 6 months it has spent in French oak casks. On the palate the oak is well integrated as the creamy texture develops out of the currants, honey, and orange marmalade flavours. Good minerality and a persistent finish deliver a wine of great character. (6 x 75 cl)

The estate's oldest vines give this intensely flavoured yet remarkably elegant wine, with the rich summer fruit overlaid with the subtle minerality that marks out the best wines of the region. Mas d'en Cátala is the name that people from la Vilella Baixa and Gratallops gave to Mas d'en Satre at the end of S.XIX. After the state was occupied by several different families and changed its cultivation again and again, our main interest was to recover old vineyards and plant new ones so that we could revive the history of the estate from the well known town of Gratallops, in the heart of D.O.Q. Priorat. After Phylloxera, the estate went into a decay, and progressively the vineyards were abandoned, until the point that in 1999 only two from fourteen hectares were remaining from the original ones and the old owner was only cultivating them in his free time. In its hayday, the Mas was almost all cultivated, mostly vineyard, but also almond trees, aurbequines, olive trees and fig trees. Since 1999, the people from the estate have been working hard to preserve this treasure. The winery will not be at full capacity until 2009 but we are currently able to start offering the fruits of our hard work. (12 x 75 cl)
