The pinnacle of our passion at Geoff Merrill Wines is shaping and nurturing the best wines from the vintage in order to select eight barrels of wine for the Henley blend. The colour is a deep brick red with cherry red hues. An aroma of blackberry fruit, chocolate and mint combine with more complex well-integrated oak showing cedar, toast and creamy notes. Firm and tightly structured palate, currently showing a toasty vanillin oak character with powerful fruit in the background waiting to burst forth. A rich blend of red berries and spices can be found entwined throughout the length of the palate growing more intense as the wine opens up. (3 x 75 cl)

Rich and luscious McLaren Vale Shiraz with ripe plummy fruit characters, hints of choclate and cigar box. The palate is starting to show the signs of some bottle age but the fruit which is still forceful with touches of vanillin oak evident. (6 x 75 cl)

A wonderfully attractive rose petal pink with vibrant purple hues. Abundant aromas of fresh raspberries, cherries and cranberry. The palate shows and excellent balance of fruit flavour and mouth feel with delicacy and freshness that gives way to a tight dry finish. (12 x 75 cl)

The colour is a light straw with a hint of youthful green, while the aroma is quite an intense and interesting varietal mix of lemon, Lantana and green bean with complex hints of passionfruit and melon. Has a seamless mouth feel full of zesty lemon, lime and tropical fruits. and there is ample flavour and mouth feel without the wine becoming round or heavy. The wine finishes with well balanced acid and finesse. (12 x 75 cl)
