The Poliziano estate was purchased by the Carletti family in 1961 and today it is run by Federico Carletti, assisted by oenologist Carlo Ferrini. In Montepulciano the Poliziano vineyards are located at an altitude of between 280 and 440 metres above sea level. Poliziano pays great attention also to the processing and vinification of the grapes aiming at the production of a typical wine with territorial characteristics. A dark ruby coloured wine with dark forrest fruit aromas that are reflected in the powerful, concentrated flavours and a great velvety finish.

The Rosso di Montepulciano is a deep red coloured wine with summer fruits aromas. With a good tannic structure and typically firm acidity this wine is complemented by the nice finish. (6 x 75 cl)
The lively local wine of Florence. Fresh but warmly fruity when young and ageing into a very smooth and big glass wine. Ideal with most rich sauces and well flavoured meals. (6 x 75 cl)

This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, merlot, canaiolo nero and mammolo and is aged for two years in oak, 2/3 in large neutral barrels and 1/3 in small barriques. Dark violet ruby in color and on the nose it is showing supple new leather, dried berries, smoke and currants. Big and chewy with velvety currants, with hints of amare and tremendous new leathery depths. Pepper, violets and citrus zest on the lovely, lengthy, complex finsh. (12 x 75 cl)
