Tasting Note Marlbrook when redevelopment began at Klein Constantia in 1980 Marlbrook was set aside for the making of a Bordeaux blend and planted with classic red varieties, amongst which were Cabernet Sauvignon, for the backbone of the blend, with its firmness, its richness and tannins, and Merlot, which is fruity, soft and feminine. Each one complements the other, to produce a wine of great finesse and elegance.
