Penfolds BIN 51 Riesling Eden Valley South Australia
No oak maturation took place. Light, pale-green with excellent clarity. Shows excellent citrus and green apple characters typical of cool climate Eden Valley fruit. Complemented by a lifted, floral, rose petal aroma, the varietal Riesling characters are superbly defined. Medium-bodied with intense, yet delicate fine Riesling fruit flavours. Abundant citrus and green apple characters with a soft, clean and crisp finish. The 1999 Eden Valley Reserve Riesling is enjoyable drinking now, yet will age gracefully over many years, developing complex honeyed, toasty characters exemplifying fine aged Rieslings. (6 x 75 cl)

Penfolds BIN 2 Shiraz-Mourvedre South-Eastern Australia
First made in 1960 with a wish to create an Australian 'Burgandian' style. The fruit is sourced predominantly from the areas of Swan Hill and Barossa Valley. Matured in used American oak barrels for 8 months to create a wine which combines ripe plum, blackcurrant and liquorice with well defined tannins on the finish. (6 x 75 cl)
Penfolds BIN 707 Cabernet Sauvignon Australia
Fermentation is completed and followed by maturation in new American oak barrels for 15 months. Deep garnet colour. Opens with barrel-ferment richness wrapped in vibrant, cassis fruit. Left to breath, complex berry and cassis Cabernet aromas are released, on a background of cedary oak and smokey nuances. Full-bodied, with dense layers of tight, saturated Cabernet fruit. A formidable concentration of dark cherry and raspberry fruit flavours, with hints of chocolate which combine to create a rich and expansive mid-palate. Stylish, oak handling combined with a backbone of firm, yet finely grained tannins, supports a lingering finish. Will reward cellaring for 5-10 years. Decanting is recommended.
Penfolds BIN 389 Cabernet Shiraz South Australia
Created out of Max Schubert's experimentation during the 1950's and 1960's, the first vintage of Bin 389 was in 1960. Combining the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon and the richness of Shiraz, the wine is matured for 14 months in American Barrels, some of which had been used for the previous vintage of the 'Grange'. (6 x 75 cl)
Penfolds BIN 8 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz South Australia
The Koonunga Hill Shiraz/Cabernet traditionally has a full-flavoured style, with excellent varietal fruit and balanced oak. (6 x 75 cl)

Penfolds BIN 407 Cabernet Sauvignon South Australia
Aged for 13 months in French and American oak barrels. Deep, brick red. Predominantly blackcurrant with a hint of tomato leaf, combined with wild raspberry and blackberry aromas, and a subtle background of spicy, smoky oak. Generous, ripe, blackcurrant jam with a suggestion of praline matched by pronounced, yet not aggressive tannins, leading to a fruit sweetness and balanced oak firmness. Well-integrated and already accessible upon release, Bin 407 is certainly one for the cellar. It will gain complexity and evolve beautifully in the medium term.
Penfolds BIN 28 Shiraz Kalimna South Australia
Aged over 12 months in American oak. Deep, vibrant red. Concentrated and rich, ripe plum sensations pervade, conjuring up images of plum conserve and plum pudding. Notes of earthy and leathery aromas are enhanced by nutmeg-cinnamon spices, and hints of tobacco. An expansive and generous mouthful of rich, sweet, berry and plum flavours. Fruit, spice and subtle, vanilla oak characters are well-integrated, leading to a velvety-finish of integrated tannins. (6 x 75 cl)
