Chocalan's 80 hectares of vineyard are situated in the Maipo Valley, nestled between the Andes and the Coastal Mountain range. Proximity to the Pacific Ocean ensures the heat of the warm days is mitigated by the cool breezes funnelled down the valley at night. This gives a longer ripening period, and more elegant, less jammy wines as a result.
