The quality at this great domaine did drift in the late '80s and early '90s - but the '96s (and every subsequent vintage) are superb. Although critical acclaim has been slow in coming, Yves's long, hard work has at last born significant fruit in winning a magnificent 5 stars in the 2008 Bettane & Desseauve guide; only six other Burgundy domaines scored so highly.
