He succeeded his father in 1982 with an estate of just half a hectare and today has 8 hectares spread through the Condrieu and St Joseph appellations. Recognised as one of the top producers in the area, Andre Perret's wines have that bit of extra concentration. He also somehow manages to combine this concentration with a great deal of finesse as befits a man whose unassuming personality consistently earns the respect of his peers. Condrieu Chery, with its golden yellow colour, balances elegance with strength. Its strong nature comes from the exceptional exposure of the hillside and the age of the vine stocks. Its bouquet of citrus fruits, violets and peach-apricot flavours gives it a rich and full character.
