Classic Grand Cru Chablis which has benefitted from some years rest in bottle after a time in oak. France may have competitors these days, but not for this sort of wine. Fresh straw aromas and a beautifully balanced, elegant palate. (12 x 75 cl)
Lovely honeyed, floral perfume with broad evocative flavours. Stylish on the palate with good weight, full acidity and classic, racy, mineral Chablis character. Good ageing potential. (6 x 75 cl)
A classic, slightly honeyed nose of lovely fruit aromas. Elegance and weight on the palate with good balance, alcohol and acidity, very fine. Steven Spurrier. (6 x 75 cl)
Light-yellow colour, limpid and brilliant. Open nose, with floral references, especially white flowers. Elegant and soft in the mouth, with fine mineral reference. Very long persistency with a well-balanced mineral retro-olfaction. In the beginning, La Chablisienne was only a small group of pioneering winegrowers. But today this association has grown to more than 200 dynamic vineyard owners who cultivate some 1,100 hectares of vines; this represents a quarter of the vineyards in Chablis. Obviously, La Chablisienne produces Chablis appellation wines, but also a whole series of wines, each one more interesting than the other. Their 1st growths and great growths are a must. (6 x 75 cl)
