Description:
Brilliant golden-yellow with aromas of oak and smoke. Medium acidity and a rich, full structure with hints of oak and spices and a beautiful finish. A powerful wine with great ageing potential.
This wine has a bright lively colour, with a fragrant nose of cherry, cassis and plum, with a rich silky taste, smooth tannins and a long satisfying finish (12 x 75 cl)
Brilliant straw-gold colours of medium opacity. Delicate fruit aromas with fragrances of peach. Crisp acidity and full-bodied with lingering vegetal flavours. A powerfully impressive example of a great appellation. (12 x 75 cl)
The village of Chassagne-Montrachet is the last and most southerly of the three great white winemaking appellations in the Cote de Beaune. The wines are fat and opulent, dominated by tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Twelve months of ageing in oak barrels adds to the wine's rich texture. Soil: Chalk and clay. Vinification: 100% malolactic fermentation followed by 12 months ageing in oak casks. Vivid lemon-yellow in the glass, this Chassagne-Montrachet exhales powerful aromas of ripe fruit and scents of honey. Medium acidity blends delectably with flavours of spices and vanilla essence. A great, full-bodied wine. (12 x 75 cl)
