From the Fletcher vineyard, which is planted on stony soils in the middle of the Wairu Plains of Marlborough, the wine shows alluring aromas of lemon, grapefruit and orange blossom. Achieving natural acidity balance, the fermentation was stopped before dryness. The result of an exceptional vintage in an exceptional vineyard this wine has perfumed white peach and nectarine aromas that dominate the bouquet. The palate is textured with subtle creamy cashew and cinnamon nuances. It is full bodied with mouth-filling richness and lingering finish. (6 x 75 cl)

There's a touch of sweetness here but the thing you notice is the piercing quality of the lime lemon fruit and the crisp acidity. (12 x 75 cl)

The nose is full of intense passionfruit, melon and pineapple flavours. Tropical fruit flavours fill the palate, which is rich, pure, luscious and long. The grapes were lightly pressed to extract the highest quality juice. The juice was cold settled overnight and clear juice racked to fermentation tanks. Cool tank fermentation ensured intense varietal characters in the wine, and at the finish, the ferments blended. (6 x 75 cl)

The grapes were harvested by hand and then underwent varying winemaking techniques following crushing. These included 'whole bunch pressing', natural fermentation, oak usage and maturation. Ripe, red fleshed plums on the nose and a velvety palate that is laced with figs, black olives and perfumed oak. (6 x 75 cl)
