COMMENTS Pale yellow colour with golden trimmings. Elegant aroma with fruity hues perfectly harmonized with the contributions from the fermentation in new barrel. In mouth it is well-structured, round and tasty with a very long and clean finish and plenty of sensations, inviting one to continue drinking. A great match for fish in sauce, white meats, Foie-Gras and pasta. (12 x 75 cl)

COMMENTSIntense cherry red colour. The primary fruit aromas and the secondary aromas contributed by the crianza are well combined.In mouth it is tasty, smooth and wide with abundant smooth tannins and very rich shades.Perfect with any type of meat.

In 1889 Joaquin Martinez Bujanda vinified his first wines in a small building in Oyon and so began the Martinez Bujanda winery. Today, this building has been restored and houses a wine museum which serves as a testimony to the history of this family. This wine is produced from an exceptional single vineyard of 80 hectares situated on the banks of the River Ebro in La Rioja Alta. This vineyard is not only exceptional for its size , but also for the high quality of the grapes produced. Having owned this vineyard for 27 years and being fully aware of the exceptional quality of the grapes it produced, the Martinez Bujanda family made the decision to build a bodega in the vineyard itself. This avoided transporting the grapes and vinification now takes place at the estate itself. Here the grapes are pressed within minutes of having been cut improving the quality of the wines further. The aim of Martinez Bujanda is to produce a wine from one single vineyard with the aim of achieving the maximum potential from this vineyard each year. A blend of 90% Tempranillo, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Mazuelo and Graciano, this wine has spent 18 months in new oak-tree barrels, 85% French as well as 15% American. This has produced a wine that is dense red almost cherry coloured wine. Clean and pleasant aromas resembling dark and balsamic fruits are well-formed with hints of oak from the 18 months spent in barrel. In mouth, it is savoury, well-balanced, with noble and sweet tannins, which give it a round and fine quality, while the aftertaste is long and smooth. (12 x 75 cl)

This is an intense and full bigaroon cherry coloured wine. The complex and powerful nose is showing balsamic aromas as well as raisins and minerals.
