Cruz de Piedra is the result of a collaboration between Australian winemaker Michael Goundrey, David Courtenay-Clack and the go ahead winemaker Jesus Nevasquez, at the Co-oparativa Virgen de la Sierra in Villaroya, Calatayud in the region of Aragon in Northern Spain. The yield from the vines, which need virtually no fungicides or insecticides, is extremely low.
