The second wine of the prestigious Chateau de Suduirat, this beautifully balanced wine is made from 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. A lovely but balanced sweetnes with complementing richness throughout. (24 x 37.5 cl)
It was the Suduiraut family that restored the vineyard to its original splendour after it was destroyed in the 16th century by the Duc d'Epernon. In the 17th and 18th centuries they built a new chateau, replanted the vineyard, and had a park laid by Le Notre. Since 1992 the estate has been owned by the AXA Insurance company who in 1991, 1992 and 1993 made no wine at all. The wine has a golden colour and an expansive bouquet of fruit, flowers and toasted oak. Matures for 18-24 months in cask. Gravel over limestone. (12 x 75 cl)
