Description:
A shiny ruby red coloured wine with burgundy red tints. It has herbaceous, tannic, strong aromas while vanilla and "fumè" hints are also evident. Lightly tannic and fruity, this red has a dry, warm character that is quite fresh, tasty and smooth.
Piculit Neri is planted only in the area around Castelnovo del Friuli and Pinzano al Tagliameto, in the west of the province of Pordenone while the name, which means "tiny", probably derives from small size of the berries.
Fresh white-fleshed fruit on the nose. Full, zesty melon and apricot fruit with just a touch of pepper. Emilio Bulfon has chosen to track down, recover and revive prestigious ancient vines which are native to the area. By doing this, Bulfon has breathed n (6 x 75 cl)
A ruby red coloured wine showing intense, excellent bouquet this is a warm, fresh, smooth, lightly tannic wine. Moscato Rosa grapes were originally from Istria. It was then introduced to Italy, and Alto Adige in particular, where it was appreciated and propagated. In Friuli, Moscato Rosa is planted by onlya few estates in small plots in the provinces of Pordenone, Udine and Gorizia. (6 x 75 cl)
Intensely rich and long lasting with a fruit, wood and vanilla fragrance. Gianni Vescovo’s prestigious winery in Farra d’Isonzo is based at the site of an old convent. The high-tech equipment installed by Vescovo in the late 1970’s contrasts the historic surroundings of the cellar. State of the art winemaking and low yielding vines come together in well-structured white wines from Vescovo’s 22 hectares in Collio (3 x 2 Litres)
