The fruit for this wine was harvested from the Deakin Estate vineyard in Red Cliffs, North West Victoria. Once in the winery this 100% Shiraz is fermented in a dozen different batches and then each submitted to slightly different maturation conditions. The components have then been manipulated to elicit complexity in the blend. Winemaker Phil Spillman considered: Colour: Medium-deep red.
