A family owned vineyard for several generations, Chateau Les Ollieux Romanis, is in Montseret situated in the heart of the Boutenac region, an area dedicated to the culture of the vine since Roman times. The use of the Alicante Bouschet grape has virtually disappeared from France today, while it role formerly was as a teinturier grape, to add colour to the pale, weak and wibbly vin de table plonk sloshing around the Midi. Today it has acquired a weird cachet and this deep red coloured wine is showing peppery mulberry fruit on the nose that develop on the palate. (6 x 75 cl)

Chateaux Ollieux Romanis CUVEE PRESTIGE Rouge Corbieres
Description: A family owned vineyard for several generations, Chateau Les Ollieux Romanis, is in Montseret situated in the heart of the Boutenac region, an area dedicated to the culture of the vine since Roman times. Aged in wood for about fifteen months the Cuvee Prestige Rouge from Carignan vines as well as a little Grenache and Mouvedre has concentrated flavours of black cherries, cocoa butter, liquorice and balsam. Pio Cesare Gavi DOCG Piemonte
Description: Our Gavi is a clear straw yellow, with green reflections. The bouquet is intense and ethereal, reminiscent of ripe fruit, green apples and moss. The palate is full and flavourful, yet soft, with a daring hint of green fruit. We describe it as strength in a light silk package. Gavi is the only real white wine of Piedmont. It is made using Cortese grapes harvested from a limited number of hilly vineyards in the area of Gavi. We carefully choose the vintage time and impose strict grape selection criteria to ensure characteristics which give our Gavi its own particular style. Typically, the harvest is made in the first week of October. The grapes are soft pressed, using checked temperature fermentation, to enhance development of aromas and fresh and fruity characteristics. The wine is bottled during the month of March. According to long established habit, we make a small quantity of Gavi wine, using the most up-to-date and sophisticated technologies. The result is a wine with an elegant and refined scent, with a savoury and lively taste, rich and evocative. This wine has nothing in common with easy drinking and flimsy white wines. On the contrary, it is a harmoniously balanced wine (6 x 75 cl)

IThe grapes come from selected vineyards in the villages of Monforte and Castiglione Falletto and from grapes in Pio Cesare own vineyards in the villages of Serralunga and Treiso. Description: In the Rapel Valley at the foothills of the Andes mountains school friends, Felipe Ibanez and Jorge Gutierrez, founded Vina Anakena and in 1998 the first vineyards were planted in Alto Cachapoal. Today Vina Anakena has 165 hectares in the Cachapoal Valley, 148 hectares in Leyda in the San Antonio Valley and 100 hectares in Cerro Ninquen in the Colchagua Valley. A fresh Rose with plums, red cherry and spice aromas. Smooth on the palate with red berries flavours, this wine is well balanced and has a fresh finish. Delicious with white meats and salads.
