Cristian and his grandfather have found the perfect vineyard to re-establish a family history of wine making. Set in the heart of the Friuli DOC wine making region, between the ancient Roman city of Aquileia and the medieval garrison city of Palmanova, they found the perfect estate inorder to obtain distinctively typical flavours. De Bortoli WILLOWGLEN Semillon Chardonnay South Eastern Australia
Description: Pale straw yellow in colour with typical aromas of lemon and straw and peach . Creamy, medium bodied wine supported by vanilla oak, producing complexity and length. The semillon and chardonnay grapes were picked at baumes to enhance the varietal characteristics and then fermented seperately with American oak. After clarification the wine was blended and stabilised prior to final filtration and bottling. Ideally consumed fresh although can be cellered for up to 2 years. An ideal match for light, spicy seafood or chicken dishes such as chilli prawn salad or chicken with lemongrass. (12 x 75 cl)

Cavit SANVIGILIO Chardonnay IGT
Description: Generic Tasting Notes Straw yellow colour, with pale green hues. Fresh, fruity aromas with notes of Golden Delicious apples. On the palate the wine is dry and well-balanced with good acidity. Vinification Grapes are soft pressed using pneumatic lung presses. After being cooled the must is fermented at twenty degrees C in large stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is left to develop in stainless steeel for about three months. During this development the temperature of the wine is kept fairly low to enhance the floral and fruity characteristics typical of this varietal and to control malolactic fermentation. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: Situated in the cool uplands of the North Mount Lofty ranges about 50 km north of Adelaide, the vineyards of Jim Barry were established in Clare in 1959. This is a family run winery committed to producing quality wines through an innovative approach to viticulture and winemaking technology. Those who know cricket will be aware of the fielding position called ‘Silly Mid On’. Close to the batsman, requiring very good reflexes and always at risk of being struck by the ball off the bat, this wine is a reflection of this. This release of ‘Silly Mid On’ Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is a blend of three components; Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc , Clare Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Clare Valley Semillon . The premium Clare fruit was sourced from the Jim Barry vineyards and the Adelaide Hills fruit was courtesy of friends in the Adelaide Hills. This wine is a brilliant pale straw in colour, with enticing aromas of cut grass, lychees and Chinese fruits. The flavours are zesty and refreshing, full of tropical fruit, with hints of lime, citrus and lychees. The palate shows excellent length and a crisp finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Situated in the cool uplands of the North Mount Lofty ranges about 50 km north of Adelaide, the vineyards of Jim Barry were established in Clare in 1959. This is a family run winery committed to producing quality wines through an innovative approach to viticulture and winemaking technology. Jim Barry purchased the Lodge Hill vineyard in 1977, as he was sure it would 'produce some of the best Riesling in Clare.' Situated on the eastern ranges of the township of Clare, it is one of the highest vine-yards in the Valley at an altitude of 480 metres, and is ideal for producing steely, minerally Rieslings, distinctive to the area. This Riesling is a steely, minerally, finely structured and delightfully aromatic dry white. 100% Riesling it displays floral and lime citrus aromas, while the palate is dry and mineral, with floral/citrus flavours and a long, zesty finish. Vasse Felix Semillon Sauvignon Blanc Margaret River Western Australia
Description: This classic Dry White reflects the cool vintage showing grassy, lime juice, pineapple and guava aromas. The palate is fresh and lively with gooseberry and lime flavours and finishes with a minerally acidity that is refreshing. This wine is essentially ''unoaked'' however since the 2000 vintage a portion of Semillon has been fermented with French oak to further increase complexity and flavour. The wine is intensely fruity, bursting with vibrant and bright aromas and flavours making it a wine that suits the Mediterranean climate and food culture found in Australia. The term Classic Dry White was first coined in Margaret River at Vasse Felix in 1987, representing a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
