The Lindemans Bin Series wines are made with fruit sourced from key grape growing regions in South Australia. This ability of Lindemans to source and blend wines from different regions produces wines of a consistently outstanding quality regardless of varying vintage conditions. Bright salmon pink with a fine, persistent mousse this wine has a nose displaying strawberry and red berry aromas as well as a subtle yeast character. On the Palate there is a fresh, lively, full flavoured character with berry fruit flavours complemented by a creamy mouthfeel and texture. The finish is soft and dry with lingering flavours. Description: Located in Stellenbosch, the farm of Welmoed was first granted to Governor Simon van der Stel in 1690. Over the years, many great wines have been produced in the Welmoed Cellar. Today, Welmoed maintains its proud winemaking tradition and has built up a solid reputation both in the South Africa and selected international markets with Welmoed’s distinctive carefully-crafted approach. Once harvested, the wine is pressed off skins just prior to dryness to preserve fruitiness and softness of tannins. This is followed by a malolactic fermentation after which a part of the wine is matured in French oak barrels. Description: Originally called 'Houmoed', the 50 hectare farm just outside the picturesque little town of Wellington, was bought by 'Kelpie' Barns and his wife Yvonne shortly after his return from active service in North Africa and Italy. The name 'Micha', can be traced back to Yvonne's time with the Ballet Russe in Paris. It is a corruption of the Russian version of 'Michael' and is pronounced 'Meesha'.
