Description: Chateau de Fieuzal today ranks happily in the top flight of the Graves alongside Haut Brion and Domaine de Chevalier for both red wine and white wine. The property comprises some 48 hectares on gravelly sand soils where the vinesÕ average age is 30 years. The red wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and the remainder Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks in FieuzalÕs state of the art cellar, and then aged for 12 months in 50-60% new oak barrels. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Branaire-Ducru Saint Julien 4eme Cru Classe OWC
Description: Branaire-Ducru's vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 22%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Petit Verdot 3%. The wine blend has even more Cabernet Sauvignon, up to 85%, is incorporated reflecting one of the highest Sauvignon blends in the Medoc. The wines are matured in oak barriques 35% new each vintage. Deep garnet-red colour. Bouquet reminiscent of flowers, berries, redcurrant and spice. Undoubtedly one of the most successful wines produced by the present winemaking team. The 1996 Branaire is rich, round, lush, tannic and very Cabernet, yet without any astringency. Delicate but substantial. Available in the original wooden case.
