Mount Difficulty Pinot Noir Central Otago NZ
Description: The grapes that make up this wine come from Pipeclay Terrace, Target Gully, Mansons Farm and Long Gully Vineyards. The majority of the vines are trained on a hanging cane system, which helps to expose the fruit to sunshine. The canopy was intensively managed during the growing season to help the vine achieve balance as well as exposing fruit so that flavours develop to their maximum potential. The open canopy also reduces the risk of disease meaning that we use no fungicides, pesticides or insecticides. All of the grapes are hand harvested. The grapes are destemmed only and not crushed to retain some whole berries in the must, with 25% of ferments undergoing some whole cluster trials. The ferments underwent 3 (12 x 75 cl)

Maison Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet AC
Description: Henri Boillot, brother of Jean-Marc, is making some of the most exciting wines in Burgundy at the moment. He has his own family vineyards as well as a negociant business, Maison Henri Boillot based in Meursault. Henri is driven in his pursuit of great wine, only small quantities of these wines are available as the vines yield is restricted in favour of quality over quantity. This results are evident in the stunning complexity, concentration and purity of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. Peach and spices on the nose with brisk, sharply delineated flavours of peach, nuts and spices. Very intense wine, with terrific acid cut and finishing spice. (6 x 75 cl)

Podere Le Bonce LE TRAME Chianti Classico
Description: Giovanna Morganti is quickly becoming recognised as one of the best of the new generation of Tuscan winemakers. Her small estate is only three hectares and her only wine is called 'Le Trame' signifying the wheeling and dealing required to purchase the land. Giovanna's father was a legendary winemaker who believed in Tuscan varietals long before the flying oenologists identified this area as super pay-dirt. She studied oenology herself and went to the work in the mid 1980s for San Felice wines in Castelnuovo Berardenga, near Siena, on a project to plant around 300 traditional Tuscan grape varietals collected from old vineyards. When Giovanna's father gave her a small farm with olive groves, called Le Boncie, she added a vineyard planted with her favourites from the experimental project (12 x 75 cl)
