Pale yellow in appearance with a slight greenish tinge, this wine has a rich buttery nose with hints of peach blossom and mint. The palate is full, rich and a little spicy, complemented by burnt caramel flavours with a lovely long finish. Deliciously creamy! (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Fourcas Dupre Cru Bourgeois Listrac Medoc
Description: A 44 hectare property situated in the Commune of Listrac, with vines averaging 25 year old. The soils are a mixture of gravel and sandstone. The blend is made up of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 44% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. It is vinified under temperature control in a combination of wooden and stainless steel vats and is aged for 12 to 18 months in barrique . Classic Medoc. The wines here get better and better (12 x 75 cl)

Balnaves of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon South Australia
Description: The Cabernet Sauvignon is deep red in colour and has a rich and complex nose of black fruits, mineral, liquorice and French oak perfumes. On the palate it is rich and powerful, balancing intense, sweet fruit with dark chocolate, a hint of leather and ripe tannins. It has a good structure, with a long, fine finish. The Balnaves estate in Coonawarra has been in the family for three generations. Planted in 1975, the vineyard covers 48 hectares and is planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon. Balnaves is rare not only for the length of time the family has been in the region but also for the fact that it is a 10,000 case winery in a region dominated by the ‘corporates.’ However, they stand out most of all for the stellar quality of their wines. Balnaves Cabernet Sauvignon ranks as one of Australia’s best examples of this variety. Winemaker Pete Bissell’s achievements were recently recognised when he was named Quantas Winemaker of the Year 2005 in a hotly contested race. (12 x 75 cl)
