Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco EKK Rulander Alto-Adige Valle Isarco Sudtirol Eisacktaler DOC
Description: As the youngest co-operative winery in the South Tyrol, set in an area where wine-growing has had a long tradition, the Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco winery has become synonymous with premium white wines. However, the actual upswing of wine-growing in Eisacktal occurred with the founding of the Eisacktal Kellerei Klausen EKK in 1961. There are ideal conditions for white grape types in the Valle Isarco where the climate and topography bequeaths the wines their unique and distinctive character, while the inclination and height of slopes helps. Some of the vines grow at 800-900 metres altitude, here the white grapes flourish in particular because of the nutrient-rich soil, the number of sunny days and even distribution of rainfall. Pinot Grigio or Rulander has much more character than its southern Italian namesakes. This is an elegant yet full-bodied white with good acidity and hints of bitter almonds. (12 x 75 cl)

Finca Antigua Reserva La Mancha
Description: In 1889 Joaquin Martinez Bujanda vinified his first wines in a small building in Oyon and so began the Martinez Bujanda winery. Today, this building has been restored and houses a wine museum which serves as a testimony to the history of this family. Owned by Martinez Bujanda, Finca Antigua is a recently aquired property of almost 1000 hectares, situated between the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo. At an altitude of almost 900m, it has 283 hectares planted with 15 year old vines covering all the noble varities. This Reserva is a classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Sebastiani Sonoma County Merlot California
Description: The dark crimson red color is unusually darker than past Sonoma Merlot's. The aromas consist of blueberry and black cherry fruit with high tones of vanilla and char from the barrels. Your mouth will delight in the vanilla and mocha flavors coupled with "bigger" jammier fruit with greater tannins and acidity, which is so characteristic of the fruit from this vintage. It, stylistically, is more full-bodied and more age worthy than our past Sonoma County Merlots. (12 x 75 cl)
