Lerane Grenache/Syrah Vin de Pays d'Oc
Description: Lerane is based in Carcassonne in the Languedoc region in the South of France, with access to some of the most consistent, quality conscious grape growers and vineyard sites. The aim every year is to select the finest quality to obtain the best results in the Lérane blends. The vineyards benefit from red clay soil which emphasise the flavours and the maturity of the red grapes used in this blend. The grapes are harvested at their optimum ripeness, traditionally fermented and follow careful extraction methods in order to preserve the fruit in its purest form. This 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah blend is intensely coloured with a deep purple hue and highlights of brick red. The nose is ripe and bursting with red fruit flavours, while the body has a generously fruity edge supported with soft, integrated tannin and a dry finish. (12 x 75 cl)
