Van Zylshof Estate Chenin Blanc Robertson RSA
Description: The Van Zyl family has farmed this 35-hectare estate for three generations. Father and son, Andri and Chris now run it. Located on a deep lime rich soil on a gentle south-facing slope above the Breede Rive, the Van Zylshof vineyards are in the southern part of the Robertson district. The area is ideal for the production of high quality white wines and the Chenin, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay produced by the van Zyl's are recognised by a wide public. Light pressing of the grapes, followed by cooling the must before slow low temperature fermentation in stainless steel ensures that these white wines, which are bottled early have that clean bright freshness so admired by connoisseurs. Clean, direct characters to the fruit make this a thirst quenching glass of wine (12 x 75 cl)
