Description: Intense yellow coloured wine with greenish highlights it has an aroma that is full and complex with a slight hint of wood. This Garganega is displaying a full, lively and persistent palate with an aftertaste of almonds. The vineyards are set in the Soave Classico controlled origin area and once in the winery the grapes are pressed gently using special presses. Finally, the must is fermented in small barrels and 15 hl barrels, where it remains for about one year. (12 x 75 cl)

Marques de Riscal Sauvignon Blanc Rueda DO
Description: This Sauvignon Blanc has an aroma displaying hints of fine herbs and ripe fruit as well as citrus, pineapple and grapefruit. Pale yellow in colour with greenish highlights it is both fresh and balanced in the mouth, with underlying mineral character leading to a general sensation of harmony through to the persistent finish. The French Sauvignon Blanc variety used by Marques de Riscal to make this monovarietal wine comes from the Loire Valley. It was introduced into the Rueda region by the Marques de Riscal wineries in 1974. Today it is one of the varieties authorised by the Rueda Designation of Origin due to its high degree of adaptability to its Spanish environment, and to its capacity to produce highly aromatic, well balanced and superior quality white wines. Description: This wine is sourced from premium wine regions across south east Australia and good quality and steady ripening fruit with full varietal characters being developed were selected. Once in the winery this wine was matured with the subtle influence of French and American oak. Bright, pale straw with lime highlights this Chardonnay has tropical fruit aromas that greet the nose, melding with delicate notes of citrus and fig. A soft, creamy spice is evident from the subtle oak maturation. A medium to full bodied wine with elegant chardonnay flavours of stone fruit, citrus and honey. Ronco Della Betulle Sauvignon Blanc Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC
Description: Ronco delle Betulle nestles in the hilly eastern part of Friuli in a subzone called Rosazzo, an estate of approximately seventeen hectares, of which ten are under vine. The hills of Rosazzo benefit from a special microclimate determined by several geographical factors: its proximity to the sea and its altitude. The sea mitigates the climate, the elevation ensures that Rosazzo is well ventilated and well lit, whilst the vicinity of Mount Caterina protects the area from the northerly wind. Ivana Adami has a purist wine-making philosophy: that the essential character of the wine derives from the sun, the soil and the area and that typicity should be respected and preserved, never altered. Elegance and freshness are other watchwords; these are wines with keen acidity. The Sauvignon is grown on marl and sandstone and the grapes are hand-picked and placed in small crates, destemmed and left to soak for a few hours before controlled fermentation. It is then left on the lees with batonnage for four months and aged for a further six months in bottle before release. This care from the vineyard to the winery has produced a delicious white with good structure and acidity with pronounced aromas that recall sage, tomato leaves and yellow peppers. (6 x 75 cl)
