The Chateau, named after some very old elm trees which are no longer standing, dates back to the eighteenth century. The 35-hectare vineyard is located around the hamlet of Pez and is divided into two main plots, in the centre and to the north of the commune of Saint-Estephe. Les Ormes de Pez has very homogeneous soil and many of the vines are quite old. 15 months in oak barrels. Gravel in sandy clay. "...one of the finest wines from Les-Ormes-de-Pez over recent years."
