Domaine Pfister Gewurztraminer Silberberg Alsace
Description: This wine comes from two plots in Silberberg, facing South/South-East, the grapes enjoy plenty of sunshine and reach a good level of maturity. The result are wines that develop strong floral aromas of rose and display a slight acidity. The Silberberg renders the Gewurztraminer 'airy', a remarkable characteristic for this grape variety. Domaine Philippe Faury Condrieu

Since then he has increased that figure to 11 hectares, spread over the appellations of Cote Rotie, Condrieu, St. Joseph Rouge and St. Joseph Blanc. Most of his wines are sold in France and we consider ourselves very fortunate indeed to have secured a small allocation of his very pure and elegant wines. The Condrieu is matured for 10 months on its fine lees, 10% in futs neufs, 30% in futs of between 2 and 5 years, and 60% in stainless steel (12 x 75 cl)
