Torres MAS BORRAS Pinot Noir Penedes DO
Description: The coolest parts of the Penedes are most suitable for growing the noble and elegant red variety Pinot Noir. One location that stands out is the historic single vineyard of Mas Borras. There are 10 hectares of vineyards that produce this wine and to obtain the fruit they forego big harvests and look for plants with low yields. Once in the winery the wine is aged in Nevers oak so that each bottle may reach its full potential. Intense floral aromas of violets are evident over a background of cocoa and small red berries . The wine is extremely smooth on the palate with sweet tannins that enhance the floral varietal notes as well as those of truffles and spices. (6 x 75 cl)
