Domaine Hubert de Montille 1er Cru TAILLEPIEDS Volnay
Description: Etienne de Montille has been in charge of wine making at his family domaine for some 20 years now but it is only in recent years that he gave up his other job of banking in Paris. Consequently he is now able to devote much more of his time throughout the year to the domaine. With his position at Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet also keeping him busy Etienne doesn't get much free time. However, the effect on quality seems to be a very postive one. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau de la Maltroye 1er Cru GRANDES RUCHOTTES Chassagne-Montrachet
Description: Jean-Pierre Cournut is now recognised as running one of the finest domaines in the Cote de Beaune. Having been at the helm for over ten years, he has overseen a remarkable progression in quality year on year. Extensive work in the vineyards to improve the quality of fruit that he harvests enables him to make the most of his beautifully renovated cuverie and cellar, where he weaves his magic. Jean-Pierre has an extensive array of vineyards, which each reflect their unique terroir and microclimate. In style the wines blend a richness and concentration of fruit with an impressive minerality. Plenty of weight and intensity but excellent typicity. Available in 1.5 Litre Magnum bottles. (6 x 1.5 Litres)

Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru LES PORUZOTS Meursault
Description: Since Etienne de Montille took over Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet as director in 2001 this sleeping giant has been re-awoken. Previously this fine estate over-cropped and over-oaked to produce 'in your face' wines with little or no terroir definition. Etienne has changed all that. He has carried out extensive work in the vineyards (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Patrick Javillier CLOS DU CROMIN Meursault
Description: Based in Meursault Patrick Javillier is one of the top three wine makers in the village. He owns a little Corton-Charlemagne and a minuscule plot of Meursault Charmes, but otherwise the estate consists entirely of 'village' vineyards. However, a village wine from Javillier usually outshines a Premier Cru from most of his neighbours. These are classic Meursaults, and his Bourgogne blancs are very serious, mineral-driven wines. (12 x 75 cl)
