Description: An excellent negociant house, the company was founded in 1849 and, although it now benefits from the technical expertise as part of the Boisset group, members of the family are still involved in the running of the winery. The style of the wines strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional Burgundian winemaking. This wine from the Echezaux region of Burgundy is a deep red colour with a mature and pleasant bouquet showing notes of fruit. Villard EXPRESION Sauvignon Blanc Casablanca Valley Chile
Description: AROMA: Very complex and covers a wide range of aromas: citrus, floral , fruits such as apricot and white peach and tropical fruit such as fresh passion fruit. TASTE: Tropical fruit and citrus. Excellent structure, refreshing acidity, with a long, crisp finish. VINIFICATION: Part of the grapes were pressed as whole clusters and the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperature for 30 days. The rest of the grapes were crushed and the juice was then cold controlled fermented in stainless steel tanks for 18 days at 12 to 15ºC. The resulting wine was left for two days on lees prior to being decanted. The two lots were then blended and left on fine lees for two and a half months, being periodically pushed into suspension with inert gas to give more volume to the wine. It was then decanted, cold stabilised and filtered before bottling. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: Having spent 12 months in French oak, and the fruit having had a longer maceration on the skins, the 'Gold' is a huge, complex wine with exceptional structure and balance. Antony Terryn is one of those wine makers whose unbridled passion for his soil, vines and winemaking allows him to transcend the limitations set by those around him. Having made wine in some of the worlds most prestigious arenas, including his native France, Antony settled on a patch of old vine Tinta de Toro near the town of Toro in North West Spain. Being an area renowned for low cost bulk wine that fuelled the inhabitants of Madrid, what Toro isnt known for are the small patches of exceptional terroir that are to be found with a little hard work, but which largely seemed to have gone unnoticed. It is from this small patch of 8 hectares that Antony produces a small amount of each of his wines with the loving care and attention to detail that is so apparent once tasted. The low yields, hand harvesting and organic viticulture along with exacting fruit selection and meticulous wine making produce simply stunning wines. (6 x 75 cl)

The first wine to use the name of La Prendina was a Merlot bottled in 1980 for Gualtiero Marchesi, but it was only in 1990 that we see the wines of La Prendina sold under the name La Prendina. In the vineyard La Prendina aims to grow full flavoured concentrated grapes while the task in the cellar is to express the nature of the grape and terroir.
