This is one of the largest Pomerol properties. The vineyard spreads out around a 19th century chateau set in a fine park. The potential for fine wine here was only realised recently, in 1975. Grapes original area: The grapes from which we produce our Nebbiolo d'Alba come from Nebbiolo vineyards located in a geographic area stretching on the right bank of Tanaro river, typical area producing the Nebbiolo grapes for Barolo and Barbaresco. The grapes coming from these areas have got organoleptic characteristics very similar to the ones of the grapes to be trasformed into Barolo and Barbaresco. Method of selection and vintage: The selection of grapes is as important and fundamental for Nebbiolo as it is for Barolo and Barbaresco. Vintage time is just a few days before the one of Barolo and Barbaresco. Wine processing: The soft pressing of the grapes is followed by fermentation at checked temperature with the must in contact with the peels for 12-13 days. Description: It's a wine with a peculiar personality and an original location; being soft, elegant refined, in comparison with the more demanding Barolo and Barbaresco, it seems more easily approachable, even if it never gives up a smart class and an harmonious structure. Our Nebbiolo d'Alba is the ideal solution for those moments and occasion when you ask a wine for something less than the important presence of a great matured wine. It is approachable, but not easy, complex, but not too important, therefore it is a wine for a superior consumption, showing characteristics of elegant structure and being softly drinkable (6 x 75 cl)

Bodegas Trapiche BROQUEL Malbec Mendoza Argentina
Description: This wine was recently awarded Gold at the IWSC although Bodegas Trapiche has been producing wine for 120 years. Today, it has over 1000ha of vineyards located at 7 estates throughout Mendoza at altitudes of between 630 and 1000m above sea level. Great care is taken in producing this wine from the manual harvest to the way the grapes are transported to the winery in small plastic crates so avoiding damage. After fermentation the wine is aged in oak before being fined and made ready for release. The great care taken in producing this wine has resulted in a deep red almost violet colour, with good dark forrest fruit aromatics. This Malbec has good balance of depth and strength while the palate is ample, rich with delicate soft tannins culminating in a long finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Domaine Brusset TRADITION Gigondas
Description: This 90 hectare estate in the heart of Southern Rhone was founded by André Brusset in 1947. The domaine, based in the ancient village of Cairanne, is now run by his son Daniel, and grandson Laurent, who was a winemaker. Yields are well below that required by law, and the fruit is of the highest quality. The grapes for this wine are 100% hand picked and vigorously selected for ripeness before the picking begins. The grapes are then crushed and destalked with no yeast added . The fermentations lasts for 15 days and the cap is punched down twice daily to aid the extraction of colour and tannin. The wine is then aged 60% in vats and 40% in 2 (6 x 75 cl)
