Oyster Bay Merlot Hawke's Bay New Zealand
Description: The philosophy of Oyster Bay is to produce fine, distinctly regional wines that are elegant and assertive with glorious fruit flavours. A vibrant merlot showing intensity of fruit but the hero is always freshness of ripe fruit, spice and soft tannins on the palate. The Hawkes Bay wine region is arguably the most exciting find in recent times for the cultivation of merlot in New Zealand. Ancient alluvial river terraces provide for a superb mix of soils over gravelly, free-draining sub soils, with an abundance of pure river water for irrigation. With a temperate maritime climate, the vines are warmed by strong clear sunlight during the day and cooled at night by the sea breezes of the Pacific Ocean. This is the unique environment in which merlot produces its vibrant, fully ripened varietal flavours. (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis 1er Cru VAILLONS AC
Description: Tasting comments : These wines are very generous, fleshy and nervous. The poor "Terroir" composed by calcareous slopes gives to this 1er Cru a minerality and a strengh that express a sharp character. Keeping time : As it stays perfumed with notes of peaches and apricots, it can be drunk young if you look for this vividness. In aging, it takes all its charm and becomes fruitier, full-bodied and powerful. Vinification methods : Traditional method used in Chablis, composed by two fermentations, calrifying, fining and the cold stabilization. Then there is a light filtration. During the vinification, one part is passed in new barrel and a blending is done with the other part exclusively vinified in tank. (6 x 75 cl)
