The ancient Antinori family have lived in Florence since the early 13th century when they moved from Calenzano, a small town between Florence and Prato, where their presence was recorded back in 1188. Wine is part of the family history and as early as 1385 Giovanni di Piero Antinori registered with the Guild of Winemakers. Wine remained the family's main passion and activity to the extent that in 1898, the 'Fattoria dei Marchesi Lodovico e Piero Antinori' was founded, and the property and farms were transformed into a really modern and well-organised business. It was founded by the two sons of Marchese Niccolo (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Domaine Ott acquired Chateau de Selle in 1912 and today it is an estate over 110 hectares, including 48 devoted to wine production. Located on the plateaux of the Var, not far from Le Luc, in the heart of Cotes de Provence country, it is making wine that is a great reflection of the terrior. As early as 1930, the 'Coeur de Grain' rose made its way over to the UK. A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Cinsault this is a lovely pale rose coloured wine that is both vegetal, fruity and spicy showing apricot and grapefruit aromas. A fine and delicate structure compliments the lengthy finish showing liquorice, pink grapefruit and aniseed. (6 x 75 cl)

Undergoes malotactic fermentation which softens the wine and adds buttery flavours.
