Description: Built about 1450, this splendid Chateau owes its name to the Raoul knight who lived there. The house was then known under the name of 'Raoulerie', the residence of Sieur Raoul, which gave then Roulerie, its current name. This is a delicious sweet Chenin Blanc that has spent 6 months in 400 litre oak barreles. This has produced a lovely golden coloured wine with aromas of citrus fruits as well as hints of exotic wood. In the mouth there is a beautiful expresssion of exotic fruits leading to a sharp and elegant mineral point, while the fruit develops into the fine, delicate finish. Description: Comments This vineyard is located at Mt Crawford , one of South Australia's consistently coolest grapegrowing sites. Citrus, lime, sweet melon fruit, with hints of new French oak combine with a creamy lingering finish to create a fine example of this great variety.
