Vintage Ports are made exclusively from the grapes of one harvest. Bottled after two years in casks, it is in the bottle that the long, slow, ageing process transforms the young wine into a magnificent Vintage Port. A Croft Vintage is only declared in years of optimum quality. These demanding standards mean that a Croft Vintage might be declared perhaps only two or three times in a decade. A round and soft Port, with lots of sweet berry and plummy fruit, verging on jam. Full-bodied and round, with a long, sweet finish (12 x 75 cl)

Bucci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore DOC
Description: The Bucci family have been involved in viticulture in the classic Castelli di Jesi zone of the Marche for over three centuries. Today they tend some 21 hectares of vineyards, sited mainly around the village of Montecarotto, using wholly organic methods. A combination of low yields in the vineyards and meticulous vinification, results in wines of memorable intensity and power. Deep, straw gold colour, the wine has an intense bouquet of apricots and honey with mineral notes. The palate is rich and well-structured with a ripe, almost viscous mouth feel and lively 'Citrus' acidity. (12 x 75 cl)

G.D.Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo Piemonte
Description: The Nebbiolo is a lighter version of Vajra’s Barolo, yet with a strong personality. The wine is bright red in colour and exhibits violets, roses and raspberries. On the palate, it has perfumed fresh damsons and red berries with spicy ripe tannins and wonderful balance. The name Nebbiolo comes from the Italian nebbia meaning fog and refers to the weather at the time of harvest. Nebbiolo is always the last grape to be picked in Piemonte and harvest can be as late as the end of October/beginning of November, when the weather starts to get cold and autumnal. Aldo Vajra's wines are characterised by pristine flavours and clearly defined perfumes. These characters are attributable to the position of his vineyards which are at about 400 metres above sea level in the village of Vergne, commune of Barolo. (12 x 75 cl)

Jim Barry SILLY MID ON Sauvignon Blanc Semillon South Australia
Description: Situated in the cool uplands of the North Mount Lofty ranges about 50 km north of Adelaide, the vineyards of Jim Barry were established in Clare in 1959. This is a family run winery committed to producing quality wines through an innovative approach to viticulture and winemaking technology. Those who know cricket will be aware of the fielding position called ‘Silly Mid On’. Close to the batsman, requiring very good reflexes and always at risk of being struck by the ball off the bat, this wine is a reflection of this. This release of ‘Silly Mid On’ Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is a blend of three components; Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc , Clare Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Clare Valley Semillon . The premium Clare fruit was sourced from the Jim Barry vineyards and the Adelaide Hills fruit was courtesy of friends in the Adelaide Hills. This wine is a brilliant pale straw in colour, with enticing aromas of cut grass, lychees and Chinese fruits. The flavours are zesty and refreshing, full of tropical fruit, with hints of lime, citrus and lychees. The palate shows excellent length and a crisp finish. (6 x 75 cl)

A deep red coloured wine with some mature hints. Aromas of lifted dried apricot and prune dominate with some spice and cinnamon notes. The Palate starts deep and persists followed by soft tannins and a long finish. (12 x 75 cl)
