Dalwhinnie EAGLE SERIES Shiraz Pyrenees Victoria Australia
Description: Dalwhinnie is located near the tiny village of Moonambel in the heart of the Pyrenees region of Western Victoria, Australia and is a super premium producer of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After 25 years of growing grapes, the 18 hectare vineyard is now fully mature, producing true varietal fruit characters with great concentration of flavours. At 595 metres above sea-level Dalwhinnie is the highest and most remote of the Pyrenees district vineyards. Surrounded and sheltered by the highest range, this unique bowl of vines is a world unto itself, located in a naturally undulating trough which falls away from the hills, forming an amphitheatre nestled into the ranges. Kim Crawford Dry Riesling Marlborough NZ
Description: 2004 was a challenging vintage in Marlborough, due not only to high crop levels but also to a very cool February. However, good weather returned in March and April, and a later than average harvest has resulted in wines with great intensity of varietal character. Kim Crawford's control over his own grape supply has ensured that quality remains at its current very high level. The 2004 Dry Riesling was made from fruit from two different later ripening vineyards in Marlborough with different flavour profiles to add complexity to the wine. This Riesling is full bodied with a hint of sweetness balanced with crisp acidity. It has great length of flavour and will improve with cellaring. Again, this wine has been bottled under the Stelvin closure, so that it can be enjoyed free from cork taint, in perfect condition. (6 x 75 cl)

Isabel Estate Pinot Noir Marlborough NZ
Description: Isabel Estate Vineyard was established in 1982 to produce premium classical grape varieties in Marlborough. However, prior to the 1994 vintage, Proprietor Michael Tiller, then an airline pilot with Air New Zealand, together with his wife Robyn, operated Isabel Estate successfully as a contract grape growing vineyard supplying some of Marlborough's leading wine producers with much sought after premium fruit. The character and individuality of their fruit derived from a unique soil profile and vineyard location encouraged them to produce and market their own wine under the Isabel Estate label. This was regarded as the most natural of evolutionary steps. Isabel Estate aims to produce true 'estate' wines (12 x 75 cl)

Argiolas TURRIGA VdT Sardinia
Description: Argiolas began in 1918, when Francesco Argiolas started from scratch and planted the first vineyard with the assistance of some prisoners of war. Now three generations of the family are present together: the patriarch Antonio, his two sons and his grandchildren. The Argiolas owned vineyards at Turriga, in the Selegas area, near Piscina Trigus supply all the grapes for this fantastic wine. Argiolas consider this their best and most worthwhile of all our vineyards, at an altitude of approximately 230 metres above sea level the exposition is truly excellent. As soon as the so-called 'Finissage' fermentation is complete, which occurs immediately after the malo-lactic stage, the wine is stored in new, French oak casks for approximately 18 months, during which three passages and one collage are carried out. After ageing in wood, the wine is immediately bottled in order to enhance the development of the wines bouquet. Due to ageing in new oak this wine is a Dark, but intense, ruby red colour, while the bouquet is full-bodied and elegant. The palate is well-rounded, heavy with an extremely individual and pleasing structure that is complemented by the refined tannins and vanilla-oak flavours. Very limited availability. (6 x 75 cl)
