Belvedere Estate RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY Chardonnay California
Description: Belvedere Winery specialises in artisinal wines from Northern Sonoma vineyards. For 15 years the owners of Belvedere, the Hambrecht family, have been searching out the best sites to produce wines with a real sense of place. As many of today's wines become increasingly indistinct, Belvedere has made a commitment to produce wines of focus and individuality. Three of California's most remarkable grape-growing sites surround Healdsburg, the location of the Belvedere winery. Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley all lie within 15 minutes of each other yet offer dramatically different micro-climates and are farmed accordingly, matching varieties to locations. This wine was sourced from the cooler sites of the Russian River Valley, and is extremely well balanced with restrained peachy fruit showing hints of vanilla and spice. A crisp, minerally core of fruit provides the backbone whilst the creamy, toasty flavours are the result of barrel fermentation and maturation. A complex and very food friendly wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Jean-Claude Boisset Pommard 1er Cru Clos de Verger
Description: Visual Aspect: A good, steady purple, with a few amber reflections. Nose: An attractive, complex, astonishing nose combining notes of fresh berry fruit with candied fruit notes. Palate: Good length, balanced between silky tannins and an evident fruitiness. Aging: This wine should be left in the cellar for 4-5 years to reveal its full potential, and may be aged for 15 years or more Location: valley. This yields two different types of wines: those from the hill on the Volnay side, and those born on the plunging slopes descending towards Beaune. The Clos de Verger is situated on the latter side, resting on a mix of clay and limestone. This ground provides the wine with a solid attack in the mouth, but also great elegance at the finish. Soil: Clay and limestone. Varietal : 100% Pinot Noir Winemaking: Whole grapes transferred by gravity into a vat. No yeasts, enzymes or tannins are added, to avoid altering the precious terroir. Maturation lasts 16-18 months in less than 20% new casks. Very light filtration. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Rocche Dei Manzoni, whose owners are Iolanda and Valentino Migliorini, have a total area of 40 hectares planted with vines in the best positions within the municipal boundaries of Monforte D'Alba, right in the heart of Langhe. The following grapes are grown Nebbiolo for Barolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba as well as black Pinot and Chardonnay. The head office is situated in Localita Manzoni Soprani, as well as the cellar which is equipped with stainless steel tanks and the wines are stored in underground cellars at controlled temperature as they mature. This wine is aged for 24 months in barriques and a further 6 months in the bottle before release. It has an intense ruby red colour with a rich, ample and noble bouquet with hints of violet, rose and almonds. Austere, delicate and elegant flavours are evident throughout this wine culminating in a complex finish. Available in Magnum bottles. (6 x 1.5 Litres)
