Description: Domaine Louis Michel is a leading family owned vineyard in Chablis with a reputation for consistently and high quality on the 45 acre estate. Up until 1970 the wines were fermented and matured in oak barrels. By 1980 the oak was discarded for stainless steel and Domaine Louis Michel is now widely recognised as the prime exponents of unoaked Chablis in the region. The soils of the area are rich with Kimmeridgian limestone that provides the character for this wine. Vinified in stainless steel tanks with no barrel ageing, the objective is to make wines which reflect the distinctiveness of the vineyards from which they are produced. A golden yellow coloured Chardonnay brimming with minerally richness. Aromas of white flowers, white pepper and talc abound with citrus and mineral flavours offering very good intensity and a firm finish. Available in Half Bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl)

Description: An attractive nose of ripe berry fruit leads to a palate exhibiting soft berry fruit with good firm tannins and vanilla oak overtones. The wine lingers in your mouth with a persistent dry finish. Merlot is a variety that softens quickly and 2 to 3 years in bottle would produce a soft mellow red. The style is light with excellent fruity aromas and flavours that still maintains a good tannic structure. Dal Zotto Estate Winery is located in the King Valley in the north of Victoria not far from the Great Murray River which forms the border between Victoria and New South Wales. The valley was settled by Italian Immigrants who were drawn initially to the rich soils for farming, but in the 1970’s Otto Dal Zotto decided to develop his passion for traditional wine-making. It is one of the few wineries in the King Valley still family owned and operated. Otto along with his eldest son Michael are responsible for the winemaking duties; the youngest son Christian looks after the selling and distribution. Middle son Julian is the viticulturist and he has a simple philosophy when in the vineyard -you can't make good wine with bad fruit- the result is a great range of food friendly wines that are approachable and have a distinct style.
