Casa Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc Rapel Valley Chile
Description: Lovely green-yellowish colour. Intense, fresh and aromatic nose, with fine and seducing notes of citrus, tropical fruits, melon and grapefruit, intermixed with smoky-flinty tones. On the palate the wine is well-balanced, juicy, fresh and crispy, rounded by a small percentage of Semillon that gives structure to the wine. An attractive and refreshing wine, very characteristic of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. After several years of viticultural trials on irrigation, harvest time and yield control at our Las Kuras vineyard, we managed to get astonishing alliances of fruit, freshness, and ripeness on our Sauvignon Blanc grapes over the last four vintages. Vina La Rosa CORNELLANA Cabernet Sauvignon Rapel Valley Chile
Description: Finally, wine matured in French oak barrels and in bottles. This is a smooth, fruit-packed wine, with a deep ruby color and intense berry flavors with cedary oak. The grapes were hand harvested, then destemmed and crushed, and the stems discarded. During fermentation, the open pump over method was used, then the pressing took place when the required amounts of color, flavor and tannin had been extracted; the pressed wine was kept separate. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Mille Roses L'ENFANT Haut Medoc
Description: CHARACTERISTICS: A ruby-purple colour, this wine is characterised by a nose of ripe black fruits and damsons with hints of oak and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine's ripe fruit and red berry fruit flavour's lead to a complex and lingering finish. LOCATION: Chateau Mille Roses covers just five hectares, in the village of Macau not far from the borders of the commune of Margaux, in the Haute-Médoc. The property is owned by David Faure. SOIL: Topsoil consists of outcrops of gravel over sand subsoil, with some limestone and clay. CLIMATE: The Gulf Stream generally gives Bordeaux mild winters, warm summers and long, sunny autumns. The district is protected from westerly and north-westerly winds by the continuous coastal strip of pine forest. GRAPES: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc. Average vine age is 25 years. PRODUCTION METHODS: The vines are trained to the Guyot system and hand-picked at vintage. The fermentation is carried out in large old oak vats where the temperature varies between 28 and 32ºC for good overall extraction, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine undergoes 18 months of ageing in 50% new oak barrels. Aged on lees. (6 x 75 cl)

Chocalan Estate Merlot Maipo Valley Chile
Description: The Vina Chocalan Merlot has an compelling, earthy nose of tobacco, wet earth, and dark plum aromas. In the mouth it offers smooth textured flavours of plum, earth and a core of stony minerality that plays off against a nicely restrained hint of oak. The acid levels are good and the tannins are restrained to the point of being nearly imperceptible. Eminently drinkable when young, this wine will benefit from some years ageing. Chocalan’s 80 hectares of vineyard are situated in the Maipo Valley, nestled between the Andes and the Coastal Mountain range. Proximity to the Pacific Ocean ensures the heat of the warm days is mitigated by the cool breezes funnelled down the valley at night. This gives a longer ripening period, and more elegant, less jammy wines as a result. (12 x 75 cl)
