Description: Segura Viudas started producing Cava in the 1950s in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, the most famous of Cava towns. Description: Lamole is a small village situated high up on the hills, 5 kilometres south-east of Greve in Chianti and about 30 kilometres from Florence. The grapes are selected by hand into single-use containers and matured for 14-18 months in large Slovenian oak casks. Dry and vigorous when young, becoming smooth and velvety as it matures. Description: This prestigious wine is obtained by an ancient tecnique known in the Veronese area as 'Ripasso'. This tecnique consists of giving more body and character to Valpolicella wine by running it over the residue of the dried grapes used in the production of Amarone Falasco. This procedure and subsequent refining by means of storage for at least one year in small casks made from French oak, reinforce the structure, colour, and flavour of Valpolicella without altering its freshness.
