WEIGHT WATCHERS Fruity White Germany
Description: Weight Watchers is naturally low in alcohol meaning lower in calories compared to many other wines available on the market. Weight Watchers helps those who are looking to control their calorie intake. The grapes for this wine are produced along the Rhine and Mosel rivers in the heartland of Germany's sunny south-west. This has produced a fresh and fruity wine with a mouthwatering grapey character and a smooth, rounded texture. This wine is produced by Reh Kendermann the large German wine producer. The company was started in 1920 when Carl Reh senior sets up a company trading in grapes, must and wine in his parents' small winery in the Mosel valley, he was just 22 years old. The company is now over 80 years old and has used all its skill and expertise to produce a range of wines for Weight Watchers that demonstrate some of the great wine grapes of the world. On average a 125 ml glass is equivilant to one Weight Watchers Point or 80 calories, check label before consumption. (12 x 75 cl)

Quinta do Covela ESCOLHA WHITE Vinho Regional Minho Portugal
Description: Bright straw colour. Floral, tropical fruits and hints of mineral character. Very dry, balanced acidity, round and well structured, with good fruit on the palate. Avesso, Chardonnay & Gewurztraminer. Fermented and aged in stainless steel vats, to preserve fruit character. Quinta do Covela has been in existence since the 16th Century. The schistous slopes of the Port area give way to the granite soils of the Entre-Douro e Minho. These poor soils, excellent exposure, special microclimate and mix of grapes varieties all mean that Quinta do Covela has its own very specific terroir. This, plus its status as producer and bottler means that the wines are unique among the appellation Vinho Regional Minho. Entre Douro e Minho (6 x 75 cl)

Mount Cass Wines MOUNT CASS GLENRAY Reserve Chardonnay Wairarapa Valley NZ
Description: The vineyards are located on the Mount Cass Road and were planted in 1982, as the then owners and developers believed that the terroir was simial to the Marlborough region. However, there was an added benefit, the effect the Teviotdale Hills and Mount Cass have in protecting the vineyards from the cool easterly sea breezes. The Mount Cass Glenray Reserve is only produced from selected clones, planting regimes and winemaking selections, including barrel fermentation with 10 months on lees. This has produced a softer style wine full of complex, strong flavours. A lively citrus fruit elegance displaying ripe melon rich characters, harmonised by the lightly toasted french oak leads to a lovely finish. (12 x 75 cl)
