Barossa Valley Estates E & E BLACK PEPPER Sparkling Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia
Description: Barossa Valley Estate was established in 1985 by a group of Barossa Valley grape growers who saw an opportunity to add value to their harvest. Since its inception, Barossa Valley Estate has gone from strength to strength. Today the portfolio of wines comprises E&E, Ebenezer and Moculta. Each of these ranges is unique and made to a particular style. Barossa Valley Estate really does have the 'Pick of Barossa', with fruit supplied from most sections of the Valley by about 80 loyal growers. This breadth of selection gives Barossa Valley Estate a unique advantage in that the winery can produce a wide selection of premium varieties which are 100 per cent Barossa. Vibrant deep red in colour, this wine has a complex aroma, bold red plum, black currant and chocolate characters with overtones of vanillin oak. Soft, opulent mouth filling flavours of dark plum, cassis and mulberry fruit create an alluring wine of great depth and intensity. Limited Availability. (6 x 75 cl)

Pierre Clement Domaine du Chatenoy Menetou-Salon
Description: As far back as 1560, Sébastian Clément was a wine grower with an excellent reputation in the Loire Valley. But it was in 1709 that the Clément family acquired the Domaine de Châtenoy. Today, Domaine de Châtenoy is one of the major producers of wine in the small appellation of Menetou-Salon, East of Sancerre. The estate includes over 40 hectares of vines, planted on the Kimmerigian clay hillsides of the area. The plantings are mainly Sauvignon Blanc , with 20% Pinot Noir. Pierre Clément, who has run the estate since taking over from his father Bernard in 1985, is a perfectionist and an innovator, always experimenting with new vinification techniques and striving to produce the purist possible expressions of the Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grapes. Menetou is the lesser known of the three towns in the world famous Sauvignon Blanc heartland of the Loire valley. Although Menetou is not as recognisable a name as Sancerre or Pouilly, you will certainly recognise the style of this mineraly, smokey Sauvignon Blanc. Traditionaly made with no oak contact and a temperature controlled, cold fermentation in stainless steel vats. This Sauvignon Blanc has lively citrus and grassy herb aromas, while the palate is medium to light in body, dry with good limey acidity that magnifies the citrus and mineral characters. Lengthy, clean and absolutely no oak on this 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Available in Half Bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl)

Capezzana GHIAIE della FURBA Carmignano Toscana
Description: Deep dark red coloured wines with earthy nose, while the rich ripe fruit character dominates. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a long, finish this is a wine to savour. This wine was created by Capezzana in 1979 when Ugo and Vittorio Contini Bonacossi decided to create a wine in Carmignano with a Bordeaux blend of grape varieties. The first vineyard, made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, was situated on the pebbly, alluvial soil of the Furba stream, after which the wine is named. In 1992 the St. Alessandro vineyard became productive and the wine's blend of grape varieties was modified. Furthermore in 1998 Syrah grapes added and today the wine is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Syrah . Ghiaie della Furba is matured for a year in barriques and laid down for a further 12 months in bottles. (6 x 75 cl)
