Description: Castello di Brolio sits on a historic three thousand acre Estate in Gaiole in Chianti that was ceded to the Ricasoli family in 1141 by the Republic of Florence. For over 900 years, the Estate has produced some of the most important wines in all of Italy. Today, under the leadership of Baron Francesco Ricasoli, the 32nd Baron of Brolio, Castello di Brolio continues its leadership in the production of fine wine. The Sangiovese is harvested at the end of September to mid October. Maceration takes place in Stainless steel tanks for 16 days and aged 20 months, partyl in barriques and partly tonneaux. The name of this wine is linked with an old property of the Ricasoli family and exalts a smooth and volutptuous taste. Ruby red coloured wine with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, violets and vanilla. Rounded and mellow this wine has a velvety body, generous flavor, rich in tannins and a great finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: This wine is from the Salice Salentino estate called Maiana. It is a blend of Negroamaro 90% Malvasia Nera of Lecce 10%.
