Description: In commemoration of the 10th years of Domaines Barons de Rothschild 's work in Chile, the exceptional quality of some of the cuvées led to the selection of an exceptional wine. Le Dix de Los Vascos originates from 50-year-old vines located in the parcel known as ''Los Frailes'', is aged in new French oak barrels. Fairview Sauvignon Blanc Malmesbury RSA
Description: The grapes used in the wine are from an old block of unirrigated bush-vines in Malmesbury. The yield was extremely low, and the fruit very good quality. Here te Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested in stages to achieve a crisper varietally true Sauvignon, with a full mid-palate, then in the winery destemmed, crushed and held in the drainer overnight. The juice was then cold fermented, and left on its lees for 5 months before bottling. This has produced a pale straw coloured wine showing an intense gooseberry and nettlea nose. The palate combines the good varietal flavours with a long enjoyable finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Livon VILLA CHIOPRIS Pinot Grigio Friuli Grave DOC
Description: In 1964 Dorino Livon purchased the first piece of property in the hills of Collio and step by step added new parcels to his portfolio. In this way, the Azienda Agricola Livon slowly but steadily continues to grow and continuing this trend Villa Chiopris was purchased in 1992. This seventy-hectare property lies between the towns of Chiopris and Viscone in a large plain, rich in iron and alluvial soils, that extends from the edge of the Veneto region in the west and the Colli Orientali del Friuli region in the east with the Moreniche hills to the North. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. They are then left for four months in the same tanks to mature, this is followed by a further 2 months refining in bottle before release. This Pinot Grigio is packed with rich fresh fruit flavours such as honey and apple, it is well balanced with a very good structure leading to an elegant dry finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Lanzerac Estate Chardonnay Stellenbosch RSA
Description: The vineyards of Lanzerac are to be found in the quiet and utterly serene surroundings of the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch, South Africa. It was here that in 1958, following the French practice of combining wine farm and country hotel, that the Lanzerac homestead was transformed into a luxury manor. More recently, in 1991, South African businessman Christo Wiese purchased the Lanzerac farm and set about renovating the homestead and its land. In the process, the Lanzerac Manor and Winery was restored to its former glory as one of the region's most distinguished examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Wynand Hamman was appointed as winemaker and immediately set about replanting the vineyards and building a truly modern cellar. All wines are therefore made, bottled and produced on the 155 hectare country estate. Although this limits production capacity, it assists winemaker Wynand Hamman in concentrating on growing the right varieties for our unique terroir and to handle the fruit and wines with greater care and respect. Due to this quality-orientated policy we have helped pioneer the noble white varieties in South Africa and are proud to have received various national and international awards and accolades for our efforts. This Chardonnay is medium bodied with a straw coloured hue while the nose shows subtle oaking blended with nuances of citrus peel and butterscotch. The palate is mellow with balanced acidity leading to an enjoyable finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Vina Izadi Rioja RESERVA Rioja Alavesa
Description: This Rioja Reserva shows a great depth of colour, superb aromatics and concentrated flavour. The wine was aged for 20 months in 75% French oak and 25% new American oak casks. It is intense ruby red in colour, with hints of red berries and smoky aromas on the nose. On the palate, the wine has multiple layers of flavour, fine tannins, and a long, elegant finish.
