Domaine Serafin Pere et Fils Gevrey Chambertin AC
Description: Established by Polish immigrant Stanislaus Serafin in 1947, this domaine is considered one of the finest growers in the village of Gevrey. Second generation owner Christian Serafin has been making the wines for over 20 years by following a philosophy of old vines and low yields. This wine is from two lieux-dits in the village, one gravelly, the other on deep soil, it is fermented at fairly high temperatures ensuring good extraction of colour and fruit. The wines are bottled unfiltered with good levels of new oak. A wine rich, concentrated and structured, ageing gracefully for many years. (6 x 75 cl)

Bodegas Osborne Rare Old Soleras Palo Cortado Abocado Solera PDeltaP
Description: SOLERA PdeltaP Sherry The black bull silhouette of Osborne's trade mark is as much a symbol of Spain as it is of the major drinks group which began in Puerto de Santa Maria in the 18th century. Today, descendants of Thomas Osborne, a native of Exeter, still control the firm. Osborne began as a sherry house and it still boasts a near unrivalled range of wines. The flagship brand "Fino Quinta" is bottled under nitrogen and screw-capped to preserve its freshness; the rare fino-amontillado "Coquinero" is fuller bodied; Bailen is a true Oloroso, pungent and dry. The ultimate expression of sherry lies in the great solera wines. These are very old sherries drawn off in minute quantities from individual soleras: they are fabulous wines by any standard, winning gold medals whenever they are entered in shows, competitions or challenges. Only few houses successfully combine being both a Sherry and Port shippers. Osborne have been Port producers and shippers for nearly forty years; they bring the same concern for quality and authenticity (6 x 75 cl)

Kim Crawford Pinot Gris Marlborough NZ
Description: This Pinot Gris from Kim Crawford was partly barrel fermented, a portion was put through malolactic fermentation and the balance was tank fermented. Before bottling, a small amount of Riesling was added for acidity, Gewurztraminer for aromatics and Chardonnay for mouth feel. The result is a rich and complex wine. It is pale straw in colour, with aromas of butterscotch and apple, coupled with a hint of citrus. It has a full bodied, ripe, fruit-based palate with peach and honey notes. Kim Crawford Wines was established in late 1996, when Kim launched a range made from fruit grown on the South Island, to be marketed in New Zealand and the UK. Kim’s control over his own grape supply has ensured that quality remains at its current very high level. He now has a stake in about 250 acres of vineyard and buys the rest of his fruit from growers with whom he has long term relationships. The Pinot Gris is bottled under stelvin closure so that it can be enjoyed free from cork taint and in perfect condition. (12 x 75 cl)
